This year, I participated in the SOF – IGKO, IEO, NSO and IMO exams. Level 1 Exam results have been announced and am honored to have won credible ranks in the exams. Our school offers an opportunity to participate in 
every year. I am keen on participating in these exams since it helps reinforce my basic understanding of subjects and also gives exposure to new and interesting topics.
My friends often ask me about how I prepare for the olympiads. Being attentive to the various concepts taught at school has helped me strengthen my basics in various subjects. I usually start preparation with the chapter wise exercises in the Olympiad workbooks around 10 days before the exam. I always reserve the practice on past year question papers for the last couple of days since they help me refresh my memory and get insights into what I can expect from a full-fledged Olympiad exam.
My favorites are English, Science and Maths Olympiad. I always feel extremely happy when I earn Zonal and International Ranks and make my teachers and parents proud. I also feel overjoyed when all of my friends and teachers congratulate me when I get a prize.
Over the years, I have learned that we must not get discouraged if our marks are bad, we must just keep trying again and with practice, we are sure to secure a good rank! I would like to thank the school for facilitating the Olympiads and making me feel happy when I receive my results. Thanks to my teachers and parents who have been constantly motivating me to work hard and achieve these results.
